Well,

After much work the new site is live!  We have lots of new features and hopefully the bugs are mostly all worked out already.  Here is a list of the new features you might find useful!

  1. Live chat sessions, you will notice a link in the main menu call "Pasco Hernando Fishing Chat" this is a powerful chat application for registered users.  You can hang out and chat about anything here.  I am hoping to get some experts to have some Q and A sessions here at set times.
  2. Ability to write and publish articles just like this one.  Get published, got something interesting to write about for the site, feel free, you should all have permissions to write articles.
  3. New forum posts are on the front page now, you no longer have to click on a new posts link to see new posts.

Those are the major changes, the portal system I am using has a ton of stuff out there to add functionality and features so if you can think of it I can probably add it quickly.

  2. Anclote River Park Boat Ramp  -  Located at 1119 Baillies Bluff Road in Holiday Florida the 29.4 acre Anclote River Park offers a Boat Ramp, Fishing Access, Picnic Area & Shelters, Playground, Restrooms, Beach and Volleyball.

  3. Brasher Park Boat Landing  -  Located at 4951 Koons Road in Port Richey Florida, Brasher Park features a non-motorized boat landing, swimming, wireless internet, playground, picnic tables, fishing, restrooms, and is wheelchair accessible.

  4. Crews Lake Wilderness Park Boat Ramp & Fishing Pier  -  Located at 16739 Crews Lake Drive in Shady Hills Florida, the 113 acre Crews Lake Wilderness Park offers a Boat Ramp & Canoe Access, Fishing Pier, Bike Trail, Tent Camping, Nature & Interpretive Trails, Picnic Area & Shelters, Playground, Restrooms, and Volleyball.

  5. Nicks Park Boat Ramp  -  Located at 7929 Bayview Street in Port Richey Florida, Nicks Park features a boat ramp, boat dock, fishing, picnic tables, BBQ grills, parking and restrooms.

  6. Moon Lake Boat Ramp  - Moon Lake Boat Ramp is a one lane ramp with a paved parking lot capable of accommodating 10 vehicles.

    To reach Moon Lake Boat Ramp from the intersection of CR587 and SR52 east of Bayonet Point travel south on CR587 for 3 miles to Buena Vista Avenue. Turn left onto Buena Vista Avenue and continue 0.6 miles to Lake Drive and turn right. Travel 0.6 miles to Moon Lake Park and turn right, follow road to ramp.

     

  7. Port Richey Waterfront Park Fishing Pier  -  Located at 8119 Old Post Road in Port Richey Florida, Waterfront Park features a fishing pier, bike trail, walking trail, playground, wireless internet, picnic tables, BBQ grills, restrooms, and is wheelchair accessible.

  8. R. H. Pless Park Boat Ramp  -  R. H. Pless Park Boat Ramp is a one lane ramp with an unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 35 vehicles.

    To reach R. H. Pless Park Boat Ramp from the intersection of I75 and CR41 west of Dade City travel north on SR 41 for 1.9 miles to Dan Brown Road. Turn left and go 0.7 mile to Townsend House Road. Turn left and go 0.4 mile to Middle Lake Park entrance. Turn left into park and follow park road to ramp.

     

  9. Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park Boat Ramp  -  Located at 6345 Clark Street in Hudson Florida, the 6 acre Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park offers a Boat Ramp, Boardwalk, Fishing Access, Picnic Shelters, Restrooms and a Beach.

  10. Robert K. Rees Memorial Park Canoe Access  -  Located at 4835 Green Key Road in New Port Richey Florida, the 45 acre Robert K. Rees Memorial Park offers a Canoe Access, Fishing Access, Picnic Area & Shelters, Playground, Restrooms, Boardwalk and a Beach.

  11. Sims Park Boat Ramp -  Located at 5443 Main St, New Port Richey, FL 34652, features trailer parking for about 30 vehicles and a riverside park with picnic tables.

  12. Withlacoochee River Park Fishing Pier & Canoe Access  -  Located at 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd. in Dade City Florida, the 408 acre Withlacoochee River Park offers a Fishing Pier, Canoe Access, Tent Camping, Nature & Interpretive Trails, Picnic Area & Shelters, Playground and Restrooms.

  1. Bayport Park Boat Ramps and Fishing Pier  -  Located at the end of SR 50 west on the Gulf of Mexico, the 1.5 acre Bayport Park offers 2 boat ramps, a fishing pier, barbecue grills, pavilions, and picnic tables.

  2. Jenkins Creek Park Boat Launch & Fishing Pier  -  Located at 6401 Shoal Line Blvd. in Spring Hill Florida, Jenkins Creek Park features natural freshwater springs, man-made canals, coastal marshes, uplands, waterways leading to the Gulf of Mexico, a boat launch (small boat or canoes only), grill and picnic tables, restrooms, and a fishing pier.

  3. Lake Townsen Regional Park Fishing Pier & Boat Ramp  -  Located at 28011 Lake Lindsay Road (CR476) in Brooksville Florida, the 375 acre Lake Townsen Regional Park boarders a State Forest and is densely wooded. The park offers jogging, hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, baseball, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, fishing pier, boat ramp, picnic areas, and a playground.

  4. Linda Pedersen Park  -  Located at 6400 Shoal Line Blvd. in Spring Hill Florida, the 135 acre Linda Pedersen Park (formerly Hernando Beach Park) offers Beaches, an observation deck, fishing pier, outdoor showers, picnic shelters & grills, pavilions, restrooms, playground and an activity center.

  5. Mountain Lake Boat Ramp  -  Mountain Lake Boat Ramp is a one lane ramp with an unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 15 vehicles.

    To reach Mountain Lake Boat Ramp from the intersection of I75 and SR 50 east of Brooksville travel west on SR 50 for 4 miles to CR41. Turn left onto CR41 and continue for 2.9 miles to Mountain Lake Road, turn right and travel 0.3 miles to the ramp.

     

  6. Rogers Park Boat Ramp  -  Located on the Weeki Wachee River at 7244 Shoal Line Blvd. in Spring Hill Florida, the 3 acre Rogers Park features a boat ramp, canoe launch, swimming area (seasonal lifeguards), showers, observation deck, restrooms, picnic tables and shelter, playground, barbecue grills, and a volleyball court.
