If i am not mistaken, there is no size OR bag limit on the silver trout...

Tues. trip was very unproductive. We managed 5 Silver trout, two flounder and two Spanish. One flounder was short the other 12.5 but too small to keep. Spanish, one too small the other just over 12" and it went back also. We fished from 18 inches of water to 15 ft. All the fish were caught in 10 + ft. Also a load of specs ,all small to tiny, all in water over 10 ft.

clobbered em again today inshore. That cold front really kicked em into high gear. hopefully they wont scatter again when the water warms back up...although, i will say...the pins have been back in force the past two days....tends to make it difficult

if the action was anything like today, you should have a good day out. I had reds, black drum, sheepshead, trout and JC's. tomorrow should be better with the lower winds

Mackerel fishing was hot inside Anclote key before the cold snap. Going to give it a try tomorroow. Silver trout were also stacked up around crab traps.

water temps dropped about 5º but it didnt seem to slow down the inshore bite

it's a little south of pasco, but i always seem to have decent luck on bass, catfish, crappie, BG, and shellcrackers @ Lake tarpon. put in at one of the launches and search for a cove. or if you see several boats in the middle of the lake, they are fishing a deeper hole that are usually loaded with panfish. off of east lake, there is a park on the southend that has a decent boardwalk. cast to the opposite shore(shady side) there for panfish

We fished artificals only, and had continuous action all day, albeit mostly small trout. It was much too nasty to do any real scouting.

as for the bait, I did not see any birds working or anything on to but there must be bait around with the Spanish and blues to be on the flats.
